Prayer Ropes

Prayer ropes (komboskini in Greek, chotki in Russian) are used in saying the Jesus Prayer or other short prayers. Ours are usually made of black wool.

Some of our prayer ropes are made by Orthodox Christians abroad. It is always our aim to return 100% of the proceeds from the sale of their prayer ropes to them. Your purchase contributes substantially to the support of needy Orthodox Christians abroad and is much appreciated.

Note: In addition to the prayer ropes listed below, we often have various other prayer ropes in stock temporarily. Circular prayer ropes from Uganda

For orders of 10 or more. $4-8 each; either all black or various colors are often available. Materials, workmanship, and number of knots vary; we try to price them accordingly.
