Our baptismal Tunics (hetonas) are simple white robes custom made from a sturdy polyester/cotton poplin, with a red cross hand embroidered on the back. We make these for adults and children old enough to walk, but not for infants. They are also often ordered by pilgrims to be worn into the Jordan River, and then kept to be buried in as a blessing from the Holy Land.
