Dipped candles taper slightly from the base to the wick. They may also vary somewhat in size. For this reason our smaller candles are sold by the pound, and our larger candles are sold individually. The dimensions given below are the width of the candle at the base.
Candles T001 through T005 are $11.00 per pound. They are also available in bulk to churches for $9.00 per pound. The minimum order for this bulk rate is 10 pounds, and orders must be in 5 pound increments. When placing orders for candles in bulk, please include a 'B' after the item number.
Churches that wish to receive candles bundled in pounds instead of in bulk will be charged $10.00 per pound. When ordering please add a 'D' after the item number.
T001 Reading Candles -
13 inches long and 1/8 inch wide – $11.00 per pound. These candles number approximately 110
per pound.
Since
these thin candles burn without dripping, they are preferred for reading
service books, lighting other candles, and for distribution to parishioners
during memorial services.
T002 Standard
Tapers - 12 inches long and ¼ inch wide – $11.00
per pound. Approximately 45-50 per pound.
T003 Large
Tapers - 11½ inches long by 3/8 inch wide – $11.00
per pound. Approximately 26 per pound.
T004 Standard Lampadas - 13½ inches long by ½ inch wide – $11.00
per pound. Approximately 13 per pound.
Too5 Large Lampadas - 11½ inches long by ¾ inch wide – $11.00
per pound. Approximately 8 per pound.
Note: the Large Tapers and
the Large Lampadas will fit the standard candle holders in Russian Orthodox
churches.
